As some may or may not know, we here at Top-Line Industrial Supply in Beaumont and Temecula, CA, have been holding our Annual Charity Car and Bike Show for the last seven years in June, with all the proceeds being donated to Carol’s Kitchen. Carol’s Kitchen is the local food bank that feeds hungry people in our area at no cost to them. If you’re hungry, they will feed you. They work entirely on donations, and every $5 means four meals to those less fortunate. Over the last seven years we have generated over $30,000 for Carol’s Kitchen through the Car and Bike Show and we are very proud of that number!

You can visit to see all the past shows and Quick Throttle Magazine has covered almost all of them. We all know, this year has been completely different due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and unfortunately, we had to cancel the show this year to keep everyone safe and healthy who might attend. A sad truth of the world we live in now.
So, what to do now? The need is still there, now more than ever, with so many people out of work and needing help. We still wanted to do something. So first we called all the folks that pre-entered the show and asked if they would like to still donate their entry fee? Almost all of them did! Then we called the sponsors and asked if they could do the same. Many of them did, even with times being what they are!
But we needed to do more! So, we decided to take one of the rolling toolboxes that we sell, fill it with new tools and supplies and raffle it off at the end of June. We started the raffle on June 1st, and we would announce the winner on June 30th live on our Facebook page. The tickets were $5, and you could buy as many as you wanted. The toolbox and everything in it, was a $600 value and I was hoping to get around $300 for the donation. To our surprise, we sold $1,700 worth of tickets! Some of the ticket buyers were from as far away as the east coast! The winner was pulled on the 30th and her name is Carol Allbaugh. She was very happy, and in the end, with all the donations and the toolbox raffle we were able to donate $4000 to Carol’s Kitchen! Pretty good for not having a show!
In these uncertain and trying times we live in, we all need to help one another when we can. It has never been more important that we all come together and raise each other up rather than knocking each other down. We will see what the future holds and Top-Line Industrial Supply will be here to assist in any way we can.
