August 8th Biggs Harley-Davidson got hotter than blazes with their annual Chili Cook Off benefiting the San Marcos Firefighters Association Local 4284. With one eye on the fires in Northern California in case they needed to send more boots on the ground, our firefighters took the day to mingle with the crowd and cook up some seriously hot chili among 10 chili entries. Elko Nevada was the location for the Rumble in the Rubies- the 15th Annual Elko Motorcycle Jamboree, June 19-21. Riders from far and wide converged for a weekend of fun with a Car & Bike Show, patriotic ceremonies, a parade, celebrity appearances, food, fun and great music. Capped off by great scenic riding and the opening of the brand new Gold Rush Harley-Davidson. Antelope Valley Harley-Davidson’s signature event Thunder On The Lot benefits Kids Charities of the Antelope Valley. This 21st year, Thunder struck at a new venue—Lancaster City Park. Headed up by Ron and Yvette Emard, Thunder has raised over $4.2 Million for the charities. Bands Foghat and Bostyx performed. San Diego Harley-Davidson and the Solo Angeles MC bring you the country’s ONLY International toy run! Hundreds of riders accompanied the San Diego Harley and Solo Angeles MC cargo vans carrying over 300 bicycles donated by San Diego Harley plus hundreds of rider-donated toys for the ride to Tijuana BC, Mexico.
