IMRG and a Superbowl Bike

By Perry and Traci Nelson

The Indian Motorcycle Riders Group (IMRG) held a meet and greet starting at Double D’s and ending at the Roadhouse Bar in Cave Creek, Arizona.  I stopped by to snap some photos and do a live Facebook feed for our Quick Throttle Magazine Facebook page.  I made sure to park my Road King on the other side of the parking lot when I arrived. Guess why? …ok I’ll tell you; all the bikes in IMRG were Indians and the lot was full of Indian Chiefs, Roadmasters, Scouts…etc. Go figure…But no need to worry, these Indian MC riders were, to quote an ESPN sportscaster, “cooler than the other side of the pillow”. Most of them had either a Harley at their house or moved to an Indian from a Harley and all had ‘respect’ for Harleys; a big deal in the biker world.

Whether you are a potential customer just looking around, or an old customer, you are treated the same here at Double D’s. Charlie and Devin, a father and son team that run things, make sure folks are all welcome. No high pressure salesman here; you may be offered something fresh from the bakery or a cup of hot coffee. With experienced Parts Dept. people and Gold Certified Service Techs in their shop, Double D’s will take care of your Indian after you drive it out of the lot. They carry the newest Indians right off the line including the club biker’s favorite the Dark Horse. Double D’s carries Royal Enfield, Polaris Slingshot, and they have custom made Indian machines including a “one-off” Indian Chief Turbo. Come check that one out at the dealership. There is a LOT to check out at this place.
