Rally in the Alley, sponsored by Hogs and Heifers Saloon, was held October 10th-14th in Las Vegas, Nevada. With thousands of motorcyclists in town, many will end up at the famous Hogs and Heifers. This is when they take the party to the streets. They close the block down and bring their gorgeous, high energy bartending staff outside. A very cool roadshow bar is constructed literally in front of the iconic biker friendly establishment and you will find these sexy, bar top clogging beauties serving up your favorite adult libations.

The bar top dancing was originally inspired by a scene in the movie “Coal Miner’s Daughter,” starring Sissy Spacek. It is truly one of the only places in town during the rally that letting loose and getting rowdy is encouraged. But mind you, their staff of security could all bench press a Harley, so have fun but keep it respectful. The “sheer magic, heart and soul” of H&H is Michelle Dell. I love the spirit and energy of this woman. She extended genuine hospitality to all and really owned the block!

Top name vendors like Leather Headquarters, Dragonfly Cycle Concepts, Shotgun Shocks, RAA Leather, Raza Rapz, Black Fly Sunglasses and Sin City Indian Motorcycles had chosen to set up shop in this world famous Rally Central. And Quick Throttle had a front row seat this year, with our booth on Saturday located next to the busy full service outdoor bar. Thanks Penny, the Events Director of Hogs and Heifers, for your fine hospitality to Quick Throttle staff and guests including Rock-N-Roli Szabo (as seen on Counting Cars!) for the Quick Throttle Meet & Greet. You rock sweetheart.

One of the highlights to the weekend in the alley is the “Babes in the Alley” ride in bike show. The show is presented by Sheila Cunningham, owner of Evil Empire Designs; it is an all-female, ride-in bike show, intended to showcase and highlight the lady biker. And it surely did not disappoint, proving once again that women on wheels are the fastest growing segment of the biker community. These bikes were some of the baddest I saw all week. The trophies sponsored by Raw-Tin Garage were creative and fun for the winners to take home.

My friend Ricci Filter (Custom Bling By Ricci), rolled in on her Swarovski crystal sparkling Harley and took home the honor of Baddest Bagger on the street that night. It is always fun to see hot biker chicks including Sin City Moto Girls and Bling Devas MC brappppp in together in force, riding their own. Let’s face it, Vegas has a ton of bomb women rolling on two wheels, inspiring and motivating others to ride too.

It was an action packed weekend and a ton of fun. The local community thanks everyone who came and enjoyed what #VegasStrong is all about. See you next year.
