12TH ANNUAL ALL TRADES POKER RUN
Sunday May 4, 2008 – Denver, Colorado
The 12th Annual All Trades Poker Run of Denver, Colorado is an annual run to benefit the Labor’s Community Agency, the community service arm of the Colorado AFL-CIO. The sponsoring trades of this run include the International Ironworkers Local Union 24, Carpenters Local Union 55, Colorado Building & Construction Trades Council, Millwrights Local Union 2834, and the Kansas City & Vicinity District Council of Carpenters. This year’s run had over 150 riders who were treated to a free BBQ feast and live music provided by Dave ‘Greywolf’ Frisk at the end of the run. Lots of door prizes, donated by local bars, motorcycle shops and businesses, were given away at the end of the run as well. This year’s poker run was held in memory of Ron ‘Fudgie’ Manchego, Ironworker Local 24, who organized the event for the last few years before his passing in October of 2007.
