A Press Release from the Yamaha Champions Riding School

N2 Track Days and Yamaha Champions Riding School are partnering for a new multi-day, multi-level school at New Jersey Motorsports Park on May 18/19/20, 2020.
The event will feature a single day ChampSchool and ChampStreet program on May 18, as well as complete 2-Day ChampSchool program on May 19/20, 2020. This is an amazing opportunity to learn how the best in the world ride, from some of the best riders in the world, no matter what level you ride. In addition to the talented group of YCRS instructors, the event will feature guest instructors, MotoAmerica and AMA Pro race winners Roger Hayden and Kyle Wyman.

N2 and YCRS are bringing a new approach to an old idea: intense training to a normal track-day-like setting, with focused classroom topics, on-track riding, and drills that bring it all together. It’s an environment that caters to both new riders and existing track riders  who are looking to break through to the next level. Street rider, track riders, racer… the May 18th ChampDay has what you need,” said N2 Partner/Owner Rob Cichielo.

The N2/YCRS Partner Day on May 18th will feature two different programs to service riders with a wide range of riding goals:
N2/YCRS ChampDay – The May 18th ChampDay is a Bring Your Own Bike program and designed as an intense skill enhancement day for track day riders. Often called “ChampSchool Light,” ChampDay introduces the rider to the Champions Habits, ultimately building the foundation for safer and faster riders while improving overall control of your motorcycle.
ChampStreet –  The May 18th ChampStreet is a Bring Your Own Bike program. You will learn how the best in the world ride, while using your street bike and your street gear, at less than highway speeds. This program is for street riders of all levels who want to learn how to control their motorcycle with the same technics as world champions; no racers or race-bikes allowed but all street bikes are welcome
On May 19th and 20th, Yamaha Champions Riding School will put on their famous two-Day ChampSchool for riders who are ready to completely change their riding life. Techniques and principles covered include trail-braking, mid-corner stops, visual habits, champions’ approaches that bring consistency, traction studies, tire and suspension loading, steering-geometry adjustability, mental focus tips, rear-brake drills, rider-adjustment drills, and track changes that mimic the real world.
“This event will have something for everybody. Street riders, track riders, and riders who are looking to take their riding to the next level with racing,” said ChampSchool CEO Nick Ienatsch. “We are bringing a full staff of championship winning coaches like Kyle Wyman and Roger Hayden. We also have a complete fleet of Yamaha motorcycles, Alpinestars gear, and Arai helmets for ChampSchool riders who want the arrive and ride experience.”
