Rally Season 2012
Between late March and Late April, we have two of the biggest and best rallies taking place, and they are so close for California and Southwest riders that some intrepid individuals manage to get to both. If you’ve got the financial or physical wherewithal, it’s certainly worth doing both – Arizona Bike Week (3/23 to 4/1) and the Laughlin River Run (4/25-29), while being radically different events, are absolutely packed with fun. But each have their own special character, which is probably why they’re on most motorcycle rider’s bucket lists.
If you’ve never been, here’s a great way to get to know the event, and even build yourself a checklist for your trip – below are the links to Quick Throttle Magazine’s full coverage of the 2011 rallies, and the links will take you directly to the articles in the digital magazines, exact copies of the printed magazines. While you’re there, enjoy the archived editions from the last several years, or peruse the rest of the site for articles and features that haven’t even appeared in the printed editions.
2011 events reflected an industry coming slowly out of a difficult time – mark our words – this year’s rallies will celebrate the fortitude and resilience of the American Biker!
