Story & Photos by Patrick Glenn
This past fall the Jazz-B Gallery at 719 W. 8th Ave. in Denver was the location of the sixth annual Denver 81 Choppers Art Show to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Denver. A late evening rainstorm had little effect on the attendance, and as what has come to be expected there were some great pieces of motorcycle and hot rod art on display along with some wicked one off choppers that are pretty much handpicked for the show. Not your average bike show. Art work, Choppers, and a fun time… I guess you’d call it an “Above Average Show”. Some of the artists and bike owners/builders that helped out and donated to the show are So. Cal artist Sara Ray, David Uhl from right here in Colorado, Pinstripping By Rody, Rich Ryan, Jeremy Potts, Phantom 8 Tattoos, Michael Licther, and The Carnage Crew. Thanks to all. I’m sure there are some that I left out, and I do apologize for that. All in all this is a show that everyone should make plans to attend next fall. Always a good time and most importantly, you’ll be helping out the Boys & Girls Club of Denver. Again, a big thanks to all that participated in making the sixth annual Choppers Art Show a success!! Hope to see you all again next year.
