thrilled when Quick Throttle Magazine offered me the opportunity to write about this year’s Toy Run and express my gratitude.
On December 6 10,000+ motorcyclists attended the 31st annual event. Cash donations have exceeded $12,000 along with truckload after truckload of toys that will benefit the Salvation Army’s Toy n Joy program. This event would not have been as successful without the support of the community and without the help of several State agencies and local Law Enforcement departments. Sponsors such as Quick Throttle Magazine; NW Harley Davidson; Biker Lawyers.com; Sears; Washington Coatings; Venture Bank and Eagle Radio were a great support. Thanks so much!
A special thanks to our drop-off sites who collected toys. DK Boos Glass; The Cigar Ladies; and local watering holes Nisqually Pub; Cedar Inn; and Log Cabin Tavern.
All of this would not have happened of course without the coalition itself. The time and energy put in by the members is immeasurable. A year long effort comes down to one day with some members working so others can enjoy the event.
So with great pride, I sincerely thank the South Sound H.O.G.; Olympia ABATE Chapter; Goldwing Touring Assoc.; Goldwing Road Riders Assoc.; Alky Angels; Swantowne Pirates; Olympia Lightriders CMA; D.O.A. #51; And Society Deviants M.C.
My best for the Holidays,
Santa Joe Sullivan, Coordinator
