Its GO Time in AZ! Story by DangerousJames See the article in the Quick Throttle Magazine May issue. See the Arizona Bike Week Photo Gallery. It was Sunday, March 25th, 2012, the last day of the weekend of the AZBW Pre-Rally Days. There’s usually not a whole lot going on other than some local parties, maybe a run. This year, though, was different. This year, it was a day of celebration… to celebrate a new beginning. A day to welcome a new player to the game, a new member to the family. That’s right, Harley-Davidson, GO AZ Motorcycles and the...

Story by Ray Seidel, photos courtesy of FX We catch up with the cast for some Q&A at PaleyFest for an off-season update. On hand are series creator Kurt Sutter (Otto), Katey Sagal (Gemma), Theo Rossi (Juice), Tommy Flanagan (Chibs), Dayton Callie (Chief Unser), David “DL” Labrava (Happy), Michael Ornstein (Chucky), and Emilio Rivera (Alvarez). Q: Kurt, how did you get started with SONS OF ANARCHY? Kurt: I spent some time with a club and soaked up “the life” a little bit, and started doing some research on clubs, and after the research some of the ideas started falling from...
By Koz Mraz, Photos by Ron Sinoy I have become a real fan of Kawasaki. It all started in 2010 when I test rode the Kawasaki Vaquero. Based on the same platform as its famous Touring motorcycle, the Voyager and Nomad, I was immediately impressed; this motorcycle has it all. A 1,700cc, SOHC, 52-degree, V-Twin engine transfers power through a tall- geared, Six-speed overdrive transmission. And power it does have: a claimed 108 lb-ft of torque; perfect for a Trike. The motor utilizes a single-pin crankshaft, like its American cousins, for a classic exhaust note. The aerodynamics of the frame-mounted,...
Story: Gary Mraz and Mike Dalgaard Photos: Ron Sinoy Styles come and go but some designs are just clas- sic, frozen in time and defy fashion fads. Passing a 2012 Indian Chief on the freeway one could easily assume its a 1940’s skirted fender predeces- sor. For many including myself the 1948-1953 fully “dressed” Indian Chief defined the word “motorcycle” and that timeless, iconic design is forever etched into our collective memories. No other motorcycle in history is more recognizable or more “drooled” over then the Chief. How many pictures have you seen of a young, hip, rocker type straddling...
BY Luckie Laurie The 8th Annual Bordello Run was a great success! We left Las Vegas for Pahrump, with over 1200 bikes, and everyone was saying “who let the dogs out!” It was like the bears came out of hibernation at once! What a day! Of course you can’t have a Bordello Run without Women and their Bordellos! Well, I did not see any partakers in the Chicken Ranch Women, but many of the riders took the tour of the Sherri’s Ranch. I think a few may return after seeing all the toys in those rooms! The Love Ranch had...
BY Sonja Richey, Digger The 3rd annual Colon All Angels “Ride A Bike, Save A Butt” Run couldn’t have fallen on a better day! Arizona graced us with temps in the high 70’s and the sun was bright and warm for our scoot southeast on some of our areas “least congested” roadways. Registration was held at Chester’s HD in Mesa then it was off to The Hub for a beverage, and a lucky draw card. People I haven’t seen in months have come out of hibernation; me included, to support the Colon Cancer Alliance, Chapter of Arizona. As the Voice...
